In my case I wanted to practice listening and comprehending spanish. That’s why I put together Take it down.

Take it down is an iPhone application designed to simplify the process of manually transcribing audio files.

Select your media and immediately control playback using touch gestures.

Available touch gestures:

• tap – play/pause
• swipe right – fast forward
• swipe left – rewind
• double tap – go back 5 seconds
• triple tap – go back 30 seconds
