Yesterday I saw what is hopefully going to be the coolest new practical toy i have bought in ages.

The 720p HD mpg4 footage looks reasonable and the camera is tiny.
The camera takes the SD card format and apparently can fit 1 hour of its’ highest quality HD onto a 4GB card. There is rumors of a 16GB card becoming available. Sweet.

I’d love to use this kind of thing whilst travelling but it’d be cool if it had a viewfinder on it as well, kinda like the old 8mm cameras. You could hold a much more steady shot that way.
