Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Frustration!
Damn!
Â
I had to take my Canon Powershot G9 cam back to the shop because it no longer turns on!
When I was up in Chaing Mai i noticed it wasnt turning on but Salvo was able to get it going by cleaning the terminals on the battery. He said it was static buildup.
But as soon as I get it back to Bangkok it won’t turn on at all. This is pretty standard luck foryours truly! lol!
So any way i took it back to the dodgy little shop in Pantip Plaza and their first question was –
“where were you when it stopped working?”.
“Chiang Mai” I said.
“So it got wet?”
“Wet? ahh err not at all. yes, it did not get touched by water”
The lady opened up the little camera bag, and the first thing that popped out was the Glad Sandwich  bag I had been carrying my camera around it, which was still, somewhow, covered in water!
The lady just looked at me and said “Are you sure?”
So now I have to wait 1 week to hear what the damage is and how much damage my wallet might incur.
Even though I am sure the cam didn’t get wet next Songkran I think I’ll get some sort of underwater camera housing- Â maybe like these guys:
Ah, that’s what happens when you start reading at the back. My camera question has been answered! But I rather would like to hear it survived the new year… :-/
Better remove the pics from the camera too, I bet the lady at the camera shop won’t appreciate all those photo’s with blurred watter drops. 😀
Anyway, good luck, hope they can fix it for you!
