Back at work after a pretty cruisy & boozy weekend. Friday night Hugh, Eric and I went to a couple of cool pubs around Surrey Hills – The Cricketer’s Arms, The Rose and a Clock Hotel. A cool boys night out.
Saturday I met up with Lisa and our good friend Tracy down at The Rocks and made our way to a cool Pub called The Australian – it has heaps of Australian beers, a really cool one called Scharers Lager. Later Liam, Hugh, Candice and Nicola quickly joined us down at The Orient (the Rocks) for a few more relaxo drinks. Lisa and I walked home (about an hour from The Rocks to Bondi). That was excellent. She is SO great!!!
One of my flatmates, Hugh, and I invested in a Weber Baby Q barbeque and got a few people around to road test it. Everyone was quite impressed. The BBQ guy at Barbeques Galore assured us it was the best buy for the price range we were looking at. I think Lisa really had a good time shopping for a BBQ with us, and also was totally rivetted when I asked if she’d like to stay at my house for a few hours and help me clean it. Yeah, I know how to entertain.
Tonight a few of us are going to go checkout the Charles Sturt University (BA) Television Production 3rd year production screenings down in Martin Place at a place called GPO (I think). Hopefully w ecan see some good work.
